Payment Information: We may request your credit card, debit card, or other payment information to collect payment for purchases made through the Site.  We use Clio, a third-party provider, to process the credit card information and do not store your payment information. The use and storage of your payment information is governed by Clio’s Privacy Policy.

Communications: When you communicate with us by email, mail, telephone, or through/via the Site, we collect information about your communication and any information you choose to provide.

We may use automatic data collection technologies and collect certain information automatically when you use the Site. This information includes:

Interaction information and history: Information about your interactions and history with the Site, including the pages that you visit and links you click on, search history, logs and location data, the time, frequency and duration of your Site visits and uses, and what features you used; Information about your computer and internet connection, including your IP address, operating system, and browser type.

Third Party Cookie Use
Google Analytics Web analytics service to analyze how visitors use our Site, to compile reports and to help us improve the Site.
YouTube The YouTube video service sets cookies on pages with embedded YouTube video. YouTube cookies register a unique ID to keep statistics of what videos from YouTube the user has seen.

The data collected by YouTube will be aggregated with profile data from other Google services in order to display targeted advertising to web visitors across a broad range of YouTube’s own and other websites.

Web Beacons: Our Site and our newsletter may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) that permit the Company, for example, to count users who have visited those pages or opened our newsletter and for other related website statistics (for example, recording the popularity of certain website content and verifying system and server integrity).

For example, Griffitts uses accepted tools and techniques to protect against unauthorized access to Griffitts’ systems. You should be aware that Griffitts has no control over the security of other sites on the Internet that you might visit or with which you might interact even when a link may appear to another site from one of the Site. You must play your part in the safety and security of your information. Griffitts wants you to feel confident using the Site, but no system can be completely secure. Therefore, although Griffitts takes steps to secure your information, Griffitts does not promise, and you should not expect, that your personal information or communications will always remain secure. In the event of a breach of the confidentiality or security of your information, including your personal information, Griffitts will notify you as necessary and if possible so you can take appropriate protective steps. Please note that we may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.

We retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and processed, in accordance with our retention policies, and in accordance with applicable laws or until you withdraw your consent (where applicable). To determine the appropriate retention period for your personal data, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of your personal data, the purposes for which we use your personal data and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements. In some circumstances we may anonymize your personal data so that it can no longer be associated with you, in which case it is no longer personal data. We may retain your personal data for an additional period to the extent deletion would require us to overwrite our automated disaster recovery backup systems or to the extent we deem it necessary to assert or defend legal claims during any relevant retention period.

  1. CHILDREN

The Site are not intended for use by children. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from any person who is under the age of 16. If it comes to our attention that we have collected personal information from a person under the age of 16, we will delete this information as quickly as possible. If you are a parent or guardian and you learn that your child (under the age of 16) has provided us with personal information, please notify us immediately at info@griffitts.co.

  1. CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS

If you are a resident of California, in addition to the rights set forth in this Privacy Policy, California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits you to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year. You may make such a request free of charge by emailing us with at info@griffitts.co, with “Request for California Privacy Information” in the subject line of your email. We will provide the requested information to you at your e-mail address in response.

  1. NEVADA RESIDENTS

Griffitts does not currently sell your “personally identifiable information” as defined under applicable Nevada law and will not sell it without providing a right to opt out.

  1. VISITING THE SITE AND SERVICES FROM OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES

This Privacy Policy is intended to cover collection of information on the Site from residents of the United States and its territories and is not directed to the residents of any other country. If you are visiting the Site or using the Site from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States where Griffitts’ servers are located and Griffitts’ central database is operated. By using the Site, you understand that your information may be transferred to Griffitts’ facilities and those third parties with whom Griffitts shares it as described in this Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring that information you share conforms to all local data protection laws.
