About Rob

Robert represents companies on critical corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, recapitalizations, fundraising, licensing deals, joint ventures and strategic partnerships. He also provides guidance to companies, CEOs and board directors on corporate governance, stockholder rights, and resolving disputes among key stakeholders.

His clients are innovative companies in diverse industries such as hospitality, consumer products, real estate, media, life sciences, sustainability, and mining and natural resources. He advises businesses of all sizes, from startups and emerging growth companies, to well-established firms looking to expand into new markets.

Robert also assists private investors, including single and multi-family offices, private funds, and other investment vehicles, with their investment and business goals, including formation, fundraising, strategic introductions, and structuring and execution of capital deployment transactions.

Robert’s approach to solving business challenges is both methodical and creative. He prioritizes understanding each client’s broad and long-term objectives, and combines precision and foresight with unconventional perspectives to cultivate clarity, discipline, and innovative solutions.

Robert began his career as a corporate attorney at Skadden, Arps in New York and Wilson, Sonsini in Palo Alto. He then served as general counsel at several venture-backed internet companies before founding Griffitts LLP
