MG+ Associate Andrea Casillas is teaching the finer points of law surrounding trademarks, intellectual property, and business essentials to NYFA’s second cohort of the Arts Business Incubator Program. The ABI program is an intensive, selective course designed to help artists and arts-minded entrepreneurs apply business principles to the growth and sustainability of their careers. After accepting applications in December, the group of six companies has been selected to participate in this up-to 18 month long course, which begins on January 18th with classes covering copyright, trademarks, fair use and intellectual property.
